The season premiere of ‘The Bachelorette’ has officially been postponed.

Slated for a May 18 start date, the show is typically already halfway done with filming by this time, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production has been halted.

Producers have assured fans that the show, which will star Clare Crawley this season, will indeed go on, just a little later than normal. An upside to this setback? The show is still casting. There is still time to shoot your shot.

Host Chris Harrison also said that because contestants on the show are basically quarantined already, it could be one of the first shows back on air.

Although the show will be missing some big names like ‘Joe Exotic,’ who is currently serving a sentence of 22 years for animal abuse and a murder-for-hire plot against another show star, Carole Baskin (who will also not make an appearance), it is sure to still shock and excite.
